Coffee on the country side :)

Jitters for jitters!

1545 S Washington St, Millersburg, OH, 44654: Jitters Coffee House

Taken pre-COVID

A little throwback for today's blog, Jitters Coffee House in Millersburg, OH.

This past weekend I went to Millersburg with my dad as I was visiting home and was a little surprised when I realized I haven't blogged Jitters yet. This is a top five coffee shop for sure.

Millersburg is one of the towns near my hometown that I feel like I need to go to more. A heavy Amish community. but truly that's the attraction. All the homemade goods and the countryside views are things I enjoy being around.

Each time I go to Millersberg I have the same routine. I go to a local thrift store called Save And Serve, I see what bargains I can find, and then I head across the street to Jitters. I've spent hours at a time there with multiple friends who will be featured in this blog post. :)

~FLAVOR~ ✰✰✰

Each time I've gone to Jitter's I've gotten a frozen drink. I get the occasional over ice drink, but I love their

frozen Jitter's Mocha. I get it with an extra shot of espresso, as well as one of their delicious maple cream

sticks. There's just something about the donuts there that makes me want to drive an hour and a half there

right now.

~PRESENTATION~ ✰✰✰
The frozen Jitter's Mocha is one of the most aesethically pleasing drinks I've seen. The caramel drizzle

around the cup is so well done each time. I've never seen a Jitters sleeve, but I do appreciate that they

write my name on the cup each time. One of my favorite things to do is see the different variations of

"Kailyn" on my cups. They usually get it right though!

As for the inside, everything is so homey. The booths are big, the lighting is dim, and it always smells like

coffee. There's also a cozy little furniture area that I think is super cute.

~COFFEE SHOP VIBE~ ✰✰✰✰✰

The staff at Jitters is one of the sweetest and most patient staff. They're speedy and friendly, and are always willing to suggest something or just wait while I waste time looking at the menu pretending I'm not going to get the same thing, haha!

~SUMMARY~

Millersburg is underrated! When I come home for winter break I'm going to go there more for sure. There are few things that make me as happy as thrifting and coffee do. It's truly the simple things.
